Peter Williams

Peter Williams serves as the Engineering & Technology COO at Allspring Global Investments since July 2022. Prior to this role, Peter spent 15 years at BlackRock, where contributions included serving as the Head of Community Strategy for BlackRock Atlanta, developing strategies for community engagement and talent acquisition, and leading business strategy within the Engineering & Technology Division. Positions at BlackRock also encompassed Vice President of Business Development, Manager of Defined Contribution Institutional Client Servicing, and Global Consultant Relations Associate. Peter's early experience includes a Summer Analyst position at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University, earned in 2007.
