Christie Dougherty, Esq., AIGP, FIP, serves as the Associate Director for Ethics & Compliance Privacy at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since October 2020, where responsibilities include training the Data Privacy Champions Network, negotiating data privacy contracts, and managing privacy compliance initiatives. Previous roles include positions at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals as a Data Privacy Legal Intern, focusing on GDPR compliance and data protection assessments. Christie has also gained experience through legal internships at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, Dedham District Court, and various firms, with a strong foundation in privacy law and compliance, bolstered by advanced education in law and accounting from Northeastern University and The George Washington University.
