Himani Shah

Himani Shah serves as the Vice President and Head of Global Compliance Operations, Programs & Monitoring at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since March 2023. Previously, at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., from January 2021 to March 2023, Himani held the roles of Interim Vice President and Executive Director in Global Compliance Operations. During a significant tenure at AstraZeneca from August 2006 to January 2021, Himani was responsible for overseeing the Global Compliance Department, with a focus on policy advice, training on ethical interactions, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption measures. Early career experience includes roles at Covington & Burling LLP in the Food & Drug Practice Group. Himani holds a JD from Yale Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Harvard University.
