Bryan Supran joined Alnylam as Chief Legal Officer in September 2025. He brings over 25 years of legal leadership experience in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors. Most recently, Bryan served as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Pfizer, where he led high-performing teams and provided strategic counsel across major corporate, transactional, intellectual property, regulatory, litigation, and international matters. His role included counseling management and the Board of Directors on strategic initiatives and business development transactions, such as Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine collaboration with BioNTech SE, the successful split-off of its animal health business as Zoetis Inc., and the joint venture with GSK to create Haleon, where he served on the Board of Directors from 2018 to 2025.

Before Pfizer, Bryan was chief securities, corporate governance, and transactional counsel at Wyeth, playing a key role in negotiating and executing its merger with Pfizer. He began his legal career at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston and New York, where he helped establish the firm’s life sciences practice. Bryan holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. in Politics and East Asian Studies from Princeton University.
