Chad LaFarge

Chad LaFarge has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2000, they worked as a Web Developer at TransactIQ, where they developed an online transaction management system. From 2001 to 2006, they served as a Production Manager at Graphic Education, coordinating a team in developing healthcare training materials. Afterward, from 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Network Security Consultant at DM TechSecure, providing education and awareness regarding network security. In 2006, they joined Cross Country Healthcare as a Sr Programmer Analyst, leading an Agile SCRUM team in developing and maintaining a Learning Management System. Chad stayed with the company until 2018. In 2010, they started their own company, vSpotNow, LLC, as the President/Live Event Operator/Producer, where they worked with clients to incorporate live broadcasting into their programming. In 2018, they joined U.S. Bank as an Application Developer, Officer, providing financing solutions for community and economic development. In 2021 and 2022, they returned to Alogent as a Sr Software Engineer, specializing in banking solutions. Most recently, in 2022 and 2023, they worked with Zoom as the Events Engineering Team Lead - Client Integrations, enhancing the professional appearance and functionality of produced meetings and webinars. Currently, they are employed as a Sr Software Engineer at Alogent. Chad LaFarge obtained their GED from the City of Jacksonville in 1990. Chad also holds several certifications, including a COVID-19 Compliance Officer certification from Health Education Services and a Dante Certification Level 2 from Audinate, both obtained in September 2020. In October 2018, they obtained multiple Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Web Applications, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: App Builder, and Microsoft Technology Associate: Software Development Fundamentals. Additionally, in April 2017, Chad achieved the Associate Web Developer - P10 certification from OutSystems. Chad'searliest certification is the Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED obtained from the American Red Cross in November 2012.
