Swetha Gurumurthy

Swetha Gurumurthy is an Associate Scientist II at ALS Therapy Development Institute, having progressed from the role of Associate Scientist I since August 2022. Prior to this position, Swetha served as a Graduate Research Intern at the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute, Boston University School of Medicine, where research focused on hypertension and its neurohormonal regulation in rats. This internship provided valuable experience in surgical rodent cardiac perfusion techniques, buffer preparation, microtome use, and staining brain slices. Swetha holds a Master's degree in Human Physiology from Boston University and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from SRM IST Chennai.
