Steve Koyanagi

Steve Koyanagi is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at TheKey since February 2021. In this role, Koyanagi collaborates with management and the Board of Directors to guide the organization through complex legal and business challenges. Prior to this position, Koyanagi was Corporate Counsel at International Education Corporation from November 2014 to February 2021, providing comprehensive risk management support for various legal matters. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate at Jackson Lewis P.C., where Koyanagi represented management clients in employment law cases, and judicial law clerk positions with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and the Intermediate Court of Appeals of Hawaii. Koyanagi holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from UCLA.
