Nicolas Mourier

Nicolas Mourier serves as the Vice President of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control (CMC) at Altimmune, Inc., overseeing the development of pemvidutide, currently in Phase III trials for liver and cardiometabolic diseases. With a robust background in pharmaceutical development, previous roles include Vice President positions at Parabilis Medicines, where strategic direction for drug development was guided, and Enzyvant, leading the development of rodatristat ethyl for pulmonary arterial hypertension. Additional experience encompasses leadership in manufacturing and CMC at Anchiano Therapeutics, CSL Vifor, Inotek Pharmaceuticals, and Akari Therapeutics, managing regulatory submissions and product development across various therapeutic areas. Mourier’s consulting expertise was further established through CMC Impact Consulting, and academic qualifications include a PhD in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry from Aix-Marseille University, complemented by master's and bachelor's degrees in Organic Chemistry from the University of Montpellier.
