Alexander de Meyer

Alexander is a Partner, Executive Board Member and Chief Executive Officer at Alvarium. Before being appointed CEO of Alvarium in 2017, he was Chief Operating Officer from 2012 and General Counsel from 2009.

Prior to setting up Alvarium, Alexander founded and was a Partner at Prostar Capital, a corporate finance and real estate advisory boutique. He was legal counsel to Deutsche Land Group PLC, an AIM-listed real estate investment fund, and before moving in-house he worked as an associate in the real estate investment team at SJ Berwin in London and Paris. Alexander trained as a lawyer in the private client, real estate, regulatory and litigation teams at Bircham Dyson Bell. He studied Law, Finance and Regulation at BPP University Law School in London and Classics & Ancient History at Newcastle University.
