Armando F.

Armando F. is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting. Currently serving as EVP and Chief Accounting Officer at Amerant Bank since November 2018, Armando has held multiple key positions including SVP, Chief Accounting Officer, SVP, Controller, and VP, Financial Reporting Manager. Prior to Amerant Bank, Armando worked at Mercantil Bank from April 2010 to October 2018 as VP and AVP in financial reporting roles. Armando’s career began at PwC, where tenure spanned from October 2003 to April 2010, including roles as Assurance Manager in the U.S. and Venezuela offices. Armando started in accounting as a Staff Accountant at Personal Accounting Services in Venezuela from January 1992 to August 1996. Armando holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at NSU and a BA in Accounting from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
