Britta Macintosh

Britta MacIntosh is Executive Vice President of Ameresco’s Western Region and Europe Operations. Ms. MacIntosh is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and Licensed Professional Engineer with expertise in business growth, client development and retention. She has more than 25 years of experience supporting project delivery for complex energy efficiency and infrastructure programs.

Britta leverages her diverse experience in the energy services industry to play a key leadership role in driving Ameresco’s growth and development. With her comprehensive experience she manages and motivates sales and engineering teams while ensuring all possible resources are available to meet our clients’ high standards.

Prior to joining Ameresco, Ms. MacIntosh was Vice President of Business Development at NORESCO, responsible for a nationwide sales team focusing on energy efficiency and renewable energy projects for the Federal Government. While at NORESCO, she provided testimony at a US House of Representatives hearing on energy security and innovation. Previous to this, Ms. MacIntosh held senior roles with Sempra Energy Services and Select Energy Services, developing and implementing business development strategies and advising on areas such as energy performance contracts and on-site generation.

Ms. MacIntosh has sat on the Board of Directors at the National Association of Energy Services Companies (NAESCO), is a Member of Rochester Institute of Technology College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council, and is a past President of the Boston Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.
