Alix Braun

Alix Braun, MPH, currently serves as the Regulatory and Registry Advocacy Director at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, where responsibilities include analyzing federal payment policy regulations, authoring formal comment letters to federal agencies, and leading regulatory advocacy initiatives. Prior experience includes a policy internship at NAMIMiami, where state and federal mental health legislation was assessed, and various roles in research and education at the University of Miami and American University. Alix has also contributed to community service organizations focused on hunger and food insecurity, demonstrating a strong commitment to public health and advocacy. Alix holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Public Health from American University.
