Jara Aponte

Jara Aponte is an Aircraft Maintenance Technician currently employed at American Airlines since April 2023, where responsibilities include performing preventative and non-routine maintenance on aircraft, completing various specialized training courses, and ensuring aircraft serviceability. Prior to this, Jara gained experience at Endeavor Air from September 2021 to April 2023, focusing on aircraft maintenance and repair, and previously held roles at Amazon and FedEx Ground that involved logistics and customer service. Jara also completed an internship with Delta Air Lines, gaining hands-on experience in aircraft inspection and servicing. Jara is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Brooklyn College, having previously earned a degree in Operations Management from Baruch College and graduated from Aviation Career and Technical Education High School in 2020.
