Andrew Pappas

Andrew Pappas is a seasoned professional in government affairs and community relations, currently serving as the Director of State & Local Government Affairs at the American Apparel & Footwear Association since January 2025. Pappas previously held the position of Senior Manager of Community Relations at Vail Resorts, where management of engagement strategies and analysis of key issues were primary responsibilities. Prior to this, Pappas worked at the Outdoor Industry Association in various roles, including Manager of State and Local Policy, where oversight of critical programs and legislative tracking were key functions. Early experience includes roles as a Research Assistant for the Udall for Colorado campaign and multiple internship positions within the office of Senator Michael Bennet. Andrew Pappas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and International Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder.
