Leveraging his diverse background and twenty-five years of experience in the world of marketing and economic development, David launched Shortlisted and has created a powerful approach to site selection and location amplification. He is an authentic storyteller who breathes life into the narrative of places around the globe, providing a futuristic, possibilities-driven perspective for growth.

Prior to his work at Shortlisted, David was the inaugural CEO of the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation. There, he developed innovative strategies and led a team to promote Montgomery County as the ideal place to start, grow and expand business in the county’s key industries including technology, life sciences, start-ups and corporate headquarters. David was named to Washington Business Journal’s Power 100, Washington’s most influential newsmakers of 2017, after just 13 months at the helm of the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation.

David travels the United States to discover and promote business opportunities, and is active on the global front, facilitating relationships between the United States and Vietnam, China, South Korea, Israel, Ireland, Colombia and Germany. He received his Bachelor of Advertising from the University of Illinois and his Master of Advertising from the University of Texas. David is driven by strategy, ideas, and competition.
