Kyle Peich

Director, Camps & After School Programs at American Esports

Kyle Peich completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management specializing in Esports and Sports Analytics in George Mason University Virginia. He is a respected coach in both traditional physical sports, and Esports.

His passion in Esports started with academic research studies on competitive gaming as a growing industry. Even as a college student, his projections on the rising economic impact of this budding field, partnered with his vast knowledge of multiple games and its platforms, have made him one of the first Esports thought leaders.

In 2018, in his senior year of college, Kyle volunteered for the Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games in Pyeongyang, South Korea where he had hands-on training and experience in event and facility management at the Gangneung Ice Arena.

Immediately after graduating college, Kyle interned at i9, America’s first and largest youth sports league franchise business. Here he designed and launched a 7-week multi-sports camp, where he also handled the in-event training and coaching together with his team.

Kyle then worked with the Northern Virginia Community College to develop a varsity level college Esports program. During his time there, he became Assistant Coach of the League of Legends (LoL) and Overwatch varsity and junior collegiate varsity teams, where they ranked as the #1 Overwatch collegiate team in all of TESPA.

He was most recently the Head of the Esports program in The St. James, a premier sports facility in Springfield, Virginia, where he has helped build the hub’s Esports center, and organize Esports tournaments and viewing parties. With his planning and expertise, The St. James, houses 24 gaming computers, as well as 4 virtual reality stations, making it one of the country’s fully-functional esports centers, designed for the ultimate gaming experience.
