Patrick Pigeon

VP, Curriculum & Training Development at American Esports

Patrick Pigeon is an expert in creation of esports programs and curricula. With over 20 years of experience in the gaming and esports industries, his theories, concepts and techniques about skills development are used by many institutions, coaches and players around the world.

Patrick founded multiple successful esports organizations that were successful in the international scene including, Armata Gaming (2008), and Boreal Esports (2014). He was also the president and director of Quebec Esports Federation – Fédération québécoise de sports électronique (2016), for over three years before founding the Academy Esports Canada in 2018.

The Academy Esports Canada was launched in Montreal, Canada as one of the first esports educational institutions in the world. In 2019, the academy spread to Quebec City, Ottawa and Sherbrooke and launched the first Esports-Studies programs in Canada.

With his experience and his accomplishments, He is undoubtedly one of the pillars of the development of the Canadian esports scene and a pioneer in the field of esports education.
