Vijay is a veteran of software development, having successfully delivered global projects in deadline-oriented environments with budgets ranging up to $100MM. His expertise spans multiple development methodologies to reduce risks and increase engagement in videogames, educational software, and for improving healthcare and patient compliance. His multi-faceted background draws from both his deep creative talent and his proven business education to forge high value return for investors. His background includes serving as Vice President of Product Development at Universal Studios, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Planet3, and Executive Director at National Geographic. He now serves as Chief Technology Officer for American Esports.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University, graduated from Harvard Business School’s elite General Manager Program, received his ‘Mini-Medical’ certification from Georgetown University Medical School, has garnered recognition as an award-winning author of the dark fantasy series Mythborn, and was named Top Writer 2018 on Quora.

Vijay has an in-depth knowledge of creating content having delivered 85+ titles (including Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Lord of the Rings, and the Elder Scrolls: Arena) grossing $2B+ in lifetime sales. He is experienced at working on content development at all stages – from ideation to production to delivery and post-publishing (live) support. He believes in using data analytics to guide market-driven consumer acquisition, retention, and engagement. He is an expert in the user experience through both storytelling and visual UI | UX elements.

As a proven executive and entrepreneur, Vijay has a record of success in managing up to 220 personnel and 15 concurrent, external development studios. He excels at collaborating with Boards, Executive Committees, investors, and shareholders and delivering against established corporate and fiscal plans with a positive attitude and energy that maintains momentum.

Vijay has successfully raised over $15MM in equity funding and is comfortable operating as an executive/entrepreneur in both corporate and startup efforts. He is a proven leader, a straight-talker, and believes hard work is integral to any successful venture.
