Andrea Ooten

Andrea Ooten currently serves as the Executive Director at the American Heart Association, a role held since July 2021. Prior to this position, Andrea was the President & CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass from July 2016 to June 2021. Additional experience includes serving as the Development Director at the Living Arts & Science Center, Resource Development Coordinator at Bluegrass Community & Technical College, and various roles in development at the Lexington Philharmonic and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Andrea's career in nonprofit development began with an educational background from Eastern Kentucky University, where attendance occurred from 1999 to 2003.
