Liza Mudd

Liza Mudd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at the American Heart Association, where Liza has held multiple leadership roles since October 2009, including Senior Vice President and Senior Executive Director. In prior positions, Liza served as Vice President of Development, Vice President for the Heart Ball, and held various director and coordinator roles focused on business development. Liza's earlier experience includes serving as a Peer Advisor at the UCLA Career Center, where responsibilities included advising students on career resources and conducting workshops. Additionally, Liza worked as a Features Writer for GOOD TIMES, producing content for a widely read arts and entertainment newspaper. Liza holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from UCLA and has also participated in a travel study program in Central American literature and culture at the Universidad de Costa Rica.
