Justin Dejong

Justin DeJong is an accomplished communications executive with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. As Vice President of Enterprise Communications at the American Medical Association since June 2013, Justin has led efforts to enhance communications and public affairs for one of America's influential associations. Previously, as Director of Public Affairs for the USDA from April 2009 to May 2013, Justin directed complex media strategies and advised the Obama White House on legislative communication. Prior roles include Director of Communications at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, where Justin advanced a pro-business agenda, and Communication Director for Obama for America during the 2008 election cycle. Justin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Northwestern College.
