Lauren Viehmann Scott, MPH, currently serves as a Senior Policy Analyst II at the American Medical Association since April 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an Account Manager and Senior Analyst at Ipsos Public Affairs, where Lauren managed large tracking studies in the private health insurance sector and analyzed market research data to inform health policy. Earlier positions included a Graduate Legal Assistant at Sonosky, Chambers, Sachse, Endreson and Perry LLP, where Lauren conducted policy and legal research on Native American health, and a Health Policy Intern at March of Dimes, where research briefs were developed on maternal and child health. Lauren holds a Master’s Degree in Health Policy and Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University.
