Basem Chbaklo

Basem Chbaklo currently serves as Chief Information Officer at the American University in Dubai since November 2022 and is a member of the Leadership Advisory Board at GEMS AL Khaleej International School since October 2017. In addition, Basem Chbaklo has held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Creative Technology Solutions (CTS) since January 2013 and was a Board Member at RSA Global from August 2018 to December 2021. Previously, Basem Chbaklo served as Managing Director and Board Member at Gulf Warehousing Company from January 2011 to September 2012 and held various roles at Agility between July 2004 and May 2012, including Deputy CEO for the Middle East & Africa. Early career experiences include Business Development Manager positions at Kuwaiti Danish Computer Company and Engineering Design Manufacturing from 1993 to 2001. Basem Chbaklo holds an MBA in Strategic Management from The Wharton School, an MS in Business from Lebanese American University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
