Adnan Tahir

Adnan Tahir is an accomplished executive in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Executive Director and Special Advisor to the President at the American University of Beirut since April 2023. Prior to this role, Adnan Tahir held multiple leadership positions at St Vincent Charity Medical Center from November 2020 to April 2024, including President and CEO and Sr VP/Chief Clinical and Administrative Officer. Additionally, Adnan Tahir was the Vice President of the Primary Care Institute at Sisters of Charity Health System from June 2019 to July 2022. Adnan Tahir's extensive experience at the American University of Beirut from August 2010 to November 2020 includes roles as Executive Director and Senior Advisor as well as Hospital Director. Adnan Tahir earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the American University of Beirut, where education was completed from 1977 to 1986.
