Robert M. Baylis

Board Member at Americares

Mr. Baylis, a former investment banker, joined the Americares board in 2013. He retired from Credit Suisse First Boston in 1996 after 33 years with the investment banking firm and its associated corporations, including serving as chairman and chief executive officer of C.S. First Boston Pacific. He went on to serve as chairman of the board of Gildan Activewear Inc., until 2012. He currently serves as a trustee and president emeritus of The Rubin Museum of Art in New York City and as a trustee of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. He formerly served on the boards of New York Life, PartnerRe Ltd., and Covance Inc. He also served as a managing director for the Wharton International Forum. Mr. Baylis is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Business School.
