Peter Jakuc

Peter Jakuc is the Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer of AmeriHealth Caritas. In this position, he plays an integral leadership role driving the corporate development activities and growth of the organization, with functional responsibility for market development, product development, market entry, proposals and applications, and marketing.

rior to joining AmeriHealth Caritas, Jakuc was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Centene Corporation, where he had direct responsibility for the companys acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and other growth-related activities. In addition, he has worked as an investment banker and served as an officer and pilot in the United States Navy.

Jakuc earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science degree in management from Troy State University while in the Navy. He holds the chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
