Jim Mattson is the current Managing Director at Ameriprise Financial. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Financial Advisor and Financial Planning Specialist at Morgan Stanley from May of 2011 to May of 2020. Before that, Jim was the Fitness Center Manager at Saint John's University from December of 2010 to June of 2013. Jim has always been driven and motivated by helping others achieve their financial goals. In their current role, they oversee a team of financial advisors and specialists who provide guidance and advice to clients in order to help them plan for their financial future.

Jim Mattson's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Saint John's University, as well as certification from the State of Minnesota in Life, Accident & Health Insurance and Series 7.
