Udita Saxena

Udita Saxena is a seasoned software engineer and bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in developing and optimizing data processing workflows. Currently a Sr. Associate Software Engineer at Amgen India since November 2025, Udita previously held various roles at Excelra from February 2020 to October 2025, including Senior Scientific Analyst II and Senior Scientific Analyst I. Udita's expertise includes developing modular workflows using Nextflow DSL2 for RNA-seq and scRNA-seq analysis, deploying AWS Batch solutions, and utilizing Docker for application containerization. Udita also has a strong background in proteomics data analysis, alternative splicing analysis, and implementing cloud-based solutions for bioinformatics. Udita’s educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Big Data in Biology from the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology, a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Hyderabad, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology from Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology.
