Ammunition has announced the hiring of Roy Torres as its newly minted Chief Creative Officer. Torres joins Ammunition after serving as Group Creative Director at Huge in Atlanta.
Prior to his time at Huge, Torres has spent his career working at top agencies across three countries, including Grey, Saatchi & Saatchi, Anomaly and Y&R in New York, TBWA in Paris, and Droga5 in Australia.
“We’re on a mission to build the next great agency, and to do that we need to attract industry-leading talent,” said Ammunition’s Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Heilpern. “Roy’s track record of leading and inspiring teams to develop truly great work that engages and drives action regardless of the medium speaks for itself. We couldn’t be more excited about what Roy’s addition means for our team and most importantly, for our clients.”
Roy’s portfolio of work includes a diverse set of clients including Converse, Toyota, Interface, Verisign, Land Rover, Krystal, Keurig, Airheads Candy and Longhorn Steakhouse. His work has been recognized by Cannes, Clios, Andy’s, London International, D&AD, Lürzer's Archive, Communication Arts, FWA, Webby’s and Fast Company.
“It didn’t take long for me to see that Ammunition has to be the most exciting young agency in Atlanta and the region, and I’m excited to be part of it,” said Torres. “The growth they’ve had since opening their doors just three years ago speaks for itself, and I’m extremely excited to contribute to that continued growth and success going forward.”
The addition of Roy comes on the heels of Ammunition winning a 2021 Pacesetter Award as one of Atlanta’s fastest growing privately held companies by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and a series of new business wins that has seen the agency’s client roster expand to 17 active clients across the US and Canada.
