Shane Burns

Shane Burns brings extensive experience in IT governance, risk, and compliance, currently serving as the Head of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance at AMN Healthcare since March 2015. Shane has a strong background in IT leadership, having contributed significantly to quality assurance and major technology projects. Prior roles include Principal Internal Audit Leader at Intuit, where Shane improved audit processes, and IT Audit Manager at AMN Healthcare, where an enterprise Business Continuity program was developed from inception. Additional experience includes consulting and audit management roles at MF Global and Ernst & Young, where Shane led diverse teams and managed engagement financials effectively. Educational qualifications include an MBA in E-Business from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
