Cynera Dodati

Cynera Dodati is a Senior Research Associate at Ampersand Biomedicines since July 2025, previously holding the same title at 10x Genomics from May 2020 to May 2025. At 10x Genomics, Cynera developed and optimized enzyme-based buffers, led studies for packaging improvements, created protocols, and conducted experiments to ensure assay consistency. Prior roles included Research Associate 2 and Research Associate at 10x Genomics, where Cynera contributed to the development of photoresist materials and performed photolithography for spatial transcriptomics. Cynera began professional experience as a Research Assistant at San José State University, designing a microfluidic device for cancer genomic analysis, and was a Teaching Assistant for a physiology laboratory. Early experience includes an internship at Maquet Getinge Group, focusing on medical device construction. Cynera holds a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from San José State University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the Watumall Institute of Electronic Engineering and Computer Technology.
