Michael Barton

Michael Barton is an experienced executive specializing in E-Mobility and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Executive Chair at Ampersand Energy since October 2025, Michael works with a talented team to advance the company’s growth in sub-Saharan Africa. Prior roles include Executive Coach and Strategic Partner at The Trium Group, as well as Executive Coach and Scale Consultant at Michael Barton Consulting. Additionally, Michael held the position of COO at Puffco from January 2022 to January 2023, focusing on executive team growth and critical marketing processes. As Managing Partner at Intelleration Group, Michael contributed to leadership development and business growth. Michael holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, along with a BBA in Finance from Baylor University.
