Michael Walters is the current Director of Sales & Marketing at Amplified IT. Michael has held this position since December 2017. Prior to that, they were the Product Manager at Hudl from November 2015 to December 2017.

Walters is a leader in the acquisition and due diligence efforts and is responsible for delivering the company’s revenue and customer engagement goals. Michael has redesigned the sales approach to incorporate Marketing and Technology into an aligned strategy that drives scale. Additionally, they deployed salespeople into territory teams with shared goal that focused on the company’s success, supported agility and provided balance between individual autonomy and strategic direction.

At Hudl, Walters was responsible for the planning, communication and development of functionality across Hudl's web and mobile platforms. Michael led cross-functional planning and communication and was responsible for full product delivery including research, planning, development, delivery and reporting. Michael's focus was on agile/scrum methodology.

Under Walters’ leadership, the team developed a homogenised Video API for use across Hudl. This was a fundamental technology underlying Hudl platform with technical understanding of Video technologies (HLS, MP4) and 3rd party vendors (JWPlayer, THEOPlayer). The team ensured speed and stability whilst delivering cutting edge functionality that our users love.

Michael was also responsible for communications tool used by coaches, athletes and teams called Messaging. There were feature parity requirements across mobile and web that they had to develop. Michael successfully developed notifications framework used across Hudl for push, sms and email.

Michael Walters has a Master of Science in Digital Media from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Lomond School.
