Dr. Silke Kirchner

Dr. Silke Kirchner currently serves as the Director of Product Management & Marketing at Ampure, a position held since October 2022, following roles as Director of Product Management and Product Manager. Prior experience includes serving as a Product Manager at Instrument Systems GmbH from September 2018 to August 2021, where responsibilities encompassed managing application software and high-precision light measurement cameras, guiding product strategy, and contributing to automotive standardization committees. Earlier, Dr. Kirchner worked as a Physicist/Postdoctoral Fellow at both Caltech and Rice University, focusing on advanced topics in nanophotonics, electrochemical interfaces, and energy generation. Dr. Kirchner holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, alongside further education in business analytics and AI applications from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and intends to pursue additional studies at MIT Sloan School of Management.
