Nemanja Niketić is an R&D Optical Engineer with expertise in FDTD and RCWA applications, currently working at ams OSRAM since December 2019, focusing on new technology development in meta-optics. Prior experience includes a role at CSEM - Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology from April 2017 to November 2019, where structured GRIN lens technology was developed and a team of engineers was led. Between August 2013 and April 2017, Nemanja conducted a PhD research project at Paul Scherrer Institut and the University of Geneva, developing a neutron spin filter utilizing dynamic nuclear polarization. A Marie Curie internship at FORTH/IESL in early 2013 involved constructing a tapered laser amplifier for Bose-Einstein condensate research. Nemanja holds a Master’s degree in Nanoelectronics (Spintronics) and a Bachelor's degree in Nanoelectronics and Nanophotonics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, along with a gymnasium education in Mathematics.
