Marta Marín Romano

Marta Marín Romano is the CEO of Amundi since October 2016. Previously, Marta served as the Corporate Head of Multichannel at Banco Santander from June 2013 to June 2016, where responsibility included the development of the bank's digital strategy across various channels. At Banesto from 2006 to July 2013, Marta led the iBanesto.com division and managed the savings and investment products for the bank. Earlier experience at Banco Santander included roles as Executive Director, overseeing sales and product development, and Vice President in charge of derivatives sales for Spain and Portugal. Marta's career began as a Trader in Derivatives and FX at Banco Santander between June 1988 and December 1992. Academic credentials include a PADE from IESE Business School, an MBA from INSEAD, a BA in Law and Business from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and a diploma in Criminology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
