Riva Dumeny

Riva Dumeny serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Benefits Division where she is responsible for developing business and operational strategies and then facilitating these efforts across the Group Benefits organization. Prior to taking on this role within the company, Riva leaned her expertise to Amwins as a whole as Executive Vice President of Operations and Strategy, supporting the operations of the organization and managing strategic initiatives including the development of centralized services that handle E&S placement for large P&C retail clients.

With more than 14 years in the industry, Riva has worked for Connextions, which was acquired by UnitedHealth Group in August of 2011, and held a variety of roles under UHG’s service umbrella of Optum, including vice president and service division leader, where she was responsible for various client relationships, primarily focused on Healthcare Benefits organizations, with $98M P&L and corresponding strategic account plans. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Rollins College and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School.
