Mike Sloan

VP, Sales Operations at Anaplan

Mike Sloan is currently the Vice President of Sales Operations at Anaplan. Mike has been with the company since July of 2018. Prior to Anaplan, Mike was the Vice President of Sales and Service Strategy and Operations at Proofpoint from December 2013 to July 2018. There, they scaled sales operations which enabled revenue growth from $150M to $600M over four years. Mike also oversaw sales forecasting, sales training, deals desk, pricing, and contract negotiations. Mike was with Polycom from February 2012 to December 2013 as the Vice President of Sales Finance and Operations. In that role, they managed WW Sales Finance, WW Sales Operations, Sales Tools including SalesForce.com and Big Machines, Deals Desk, and Channels Finance and Operations. Mike began their career at Cisco in April of 2004 as the Director of WW Commercial Finance. Mike then became a Financial Solutions Executive at Marconi Comunicaciones in January 2001.

Mike Sloan graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. Mike then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from Indiana University Bloomington.

They work with Ashwin Iyer - Senior Director of Industry and Solutions Marketing, Lauren Bossers - Senior Director of Customer Marketing, and Jason Loh - Global Head of Sales Solutions. Mike Sloan reports to Bill Schuh, Chief Revenue Officer.
