Karen Richard is the SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Andersen Corporation. Karen has over 25 years of experience in human resources and organizational development.

Richard began their career at Sleep Number Corporation in 1996 as the VP and Chief Human Capital Officer. Karen was with the company for 18 years, overseeing all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, benefits, compensation, and talent management.

In 2014, Richard left Sleep Number to join Make-A-Wish Minnesota as a board member. Karen served on the board for two years before joining PeopleAnswers as an advisory board member.

In 2006, Richard also became a board member of St. David's Center for Child and Family Development, where they served as chair of the board of directors for seven years. In 2015, they joined the Greater Twin Cities United Way as a board member and executive committee member. Karen served in this role for six years before joining their current company, Andersen Corporation.

Karen Richard has an EMBA from the University of St. Thomas in Business Administration and Management, General. Karen also has a BA in Accounting from the College of Saint Benedict.

Karen Richard reports to Jay R. Lund, Chairman & CEO. They work with Brandon Berg - SVP, Research, Development & Innovation, Chris Galvin - President & COO, and Kelly Aronson - SVP & Chief Information Officer.
