Naveen Chenna

Naveen Chenna is a seasoned professional in the field of research and innovation, currently serving as the Director of Research and Innovation and Head of Business and Technology Development at ANDRITZ since June 2020. In this role, Naveen is responsible for product development strategies and leads a team focused on the commercialization of technologies utilizing pulp mill side streams. Naveen is also a doctoral candidate at Aalto University School of Chemical Technology, where research includes the development of novel catalytic pulp bleaching processes and optimization of reaction conditions. Previous experience includes a role as Product Engineer at Valmet, focusing on reducing environmental impact from pulp mill gases, and research at the University of Helsinki. Naveen holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Spectroscopy in Chemistry from the University of Helsinki and a Master of Science in Spectroscopy, Chemistry from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
