Jens Lapinski

Jens Lapinski is a distinguished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. Currently serving as Founding Partner and CEO of Angel Invest, Europe's most active Superangel Fund, Jens has overseen more than 40 investments annually while actively mentoring founders post-investment. As Managing Director Emeritus and former Managing Director at Techstars, Jens established the Berlin office, which became the most active Techstars location globally. Jens also contributed as an Advisory Board Member at Signals Venture Capital during its €100m Fund I investment period and played a crucial role in raising Fund II. Previously, Jens was a partner at Forward Internet Group, where a startup studio was launched, leading to the creation of multiple successful businesses. Jens co-founded aiHit, a company specializing in automated company data that was acquired in 2015, and held a VP position at Library House, focusing on VC-backed private company data. Jens holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge and a BSc (Hons) in Genetics from the University of Leeds.
