Daniel D. Keenan

VP, Research & Design at Angel Medical Systems

Daniel Keenan has over 20 years of experience in the design, development, and support of complex technical systems. He currently oversees all of Research & Development at AngelMed. His responsibilities include research, product development, continuing engineering, supply chain management, and customer, partner and employee technical services. Daniel joined AngelMed in 2007.

Prior to his current position, Daniel was the Director of Clinical Affairs for AngelMed. While in that position, Daniel led AngelMed’s global clinical trial operations in Brazil and Germany, including the 100-site ALERTS Clinical Study. The results of the ALERTS Study were used to obtain FDA approval of the AngelMed Guardian System in 2018. Prior to joining AngelMed Daniel received his education in Computer Science from The Catholic University of America. He then spent more than a decade as part of the IP converged communications research and development unit within Bell Laboratories and later Avaya.
