Rodolfo Vera Vargas

Rodolfo Vera Vargas serves as the Mining Technical Systems Superintendent at Anglo American since December 2019, overseeing the Technical Mining Systems area responsible for defining the technological roadmap and innovation, managing systems that support operational activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Prior to this role, Rodolfo accumulated extensive experience at Antamina from April 2002 to December 2019, where positions included Senior Telecommunications Supervisor and Telecommunications Supervisor, focusing on the leadership and management of telecommunications services, project execution, contract oversight, and customer-oriented solutions. Rodolfo holds a range of advanced degrees, including a Corporate International MBA from Esade and qualifications in Applied Analytics, Digital Transformation, and International Business from prestigious institutions. Additionally, Rodolfo has foundational education in Systems Engineering and project management credentials.
