Loig Allain

Loig Allain is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and product management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering - Cloud at Ansys since June 2019, Loig oversees a global team of over 40 engineers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of strategic projects. Previous roles at Ansys include Director of Product Development for Ansys Autonomy, focusing on simulating environments for autonomous vehicles, and Optics R&D Director, managing a large team through a significant transformation. Prior to joining Ansys, Loig held various positions at Siemens PLM Software, including Senior Lead Product Manager for Cloud - Simcenter and responsibilities in Model Based System Engineering. Loig's career began with managerial and project roles at ABYLSEN, Moving Magnet Technologies, and Somfy France, complemented by a robust educational background in Electrical Engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA.
