Archie Cochrane

Archie is an Investment Principal at Anthemis, where he helps discover, evaluate and execute investments as well as provide support for Anthemis portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Anthemis, Archie was an operator at PayU, the payments and financial technology division of Naspers Group. As part of the strategy team, he was responsible for building commercial partnerships across Latin America, Central & Eastern Europe, Africa and India.

Archie began his career in Bogota, Colombia working for a family office. He spent two years embedding himself in the technology ecosystem of Latin America and furthering his interest in the world of impact investing. Archie holds a bachelors degree in theology from the University of Nottingham and speaks Spanish with a Colombian twist. Outside of the office he is a keen sailor, having completed a transatlantic crossing and competed at university level.
