Are you an energetic, detail-oriented individual with a passion for organising impactful events and engaging with a community? The ANU Entrepreneurship Club is looking for an Engagement Officer to plan, coordinate, and execute events that foster creativity, collaboration, and innovation within our entrepreneurial community. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating memorable experiences that support the club’s mission and engage student entrepreneurs at ANU.
About the Role
As the Engagement Officer, you’ll play a key role in bringing the club’s events to life. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, coordination, and post-event evaluation. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure each event is aligned with the club’s goals, providing a seamless experience for attendees and creating opportunities for growth and collaboration.
What You'll Do:
- Plan and coordinate events, such as workshops, networking sessions, speaker panels, and entrepreneurial showcases.
- Handle logistics, including venue selection, catering, event schedules, and guest coordination.
- Collaborate with the team to develop event concepts that support the club’s initiatives and mission.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure event success.
- Market events to increase engagement and participation.
- Ensure events meet high standards of quality and execution.
- Dedicate 4 hours weekly, including 2 hours in-office for event planning, coordination, and meetings.
- Attend all events, providing on-the-day support to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- A student currently enrolled at ANU.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to coordinate with teams, vendors, and attendees.
- A strong interest in entrepreneurship and creating engaging experiences for student entrepreneurs.
