Podcast Host & Producer

Are you passionate about storytelling, podcasting, and entrepreneurship? The ANU Entrepreneurship Club is looking for a Podcast Producer & Host to produce, manage, and host our club’s podcast. In this role, you’ll work closely with the team to create engaging episodes that highlight the innovative spirit of ANU’s entrepreneurial community, while also managing the technical aspects and overall production process.

About the Role

As the Podcast Producer & Host, you will take charge of the creative direction, content production, and hosting duties for the podcast. You’ll work with guests, both internal and external, to create impactful and informative episodes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the voice of the club, promote its initiatives, and bring entrepreneurial stories to life.

What You'll Do:

• Host and produce podcast episodes, featuring interviews with student entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and club members.
• Manage all aspects of production, including scheduling, recording, editing, and publishing.
• Collaborate with the team to develop topics, create scripts, and produce high-quality content that aligns with the club’s mission and vision.
• Work with guests to ensure smooth episode recording and interesting, engaging conversations.
• Market and promote the podcast through social media, the club’s website, and other channels to increase reach and engagement.
• Dedicate 4 hours weekly, including 2 hours in-office for recording, planning, and collaboration.
• Attend leadership meetings to ensure the podcast aligns with broader club initiatives and goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• A student currently enrolled at ANU with experience in podcasting, audio production, or media production.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to host engaging conversations on-air.
• Experience with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition) and understanding of podcast production processes.
• Creative storytelling skills and an interest in promoting entrepreneurship through digital media.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, and the ANU student community.
