Ryo Lu

Ryo Lu is an experienced design leader currently serving as the Head of Design at Anysphere since February 2025, where Ryo is working on developing Crafting Cursor, an innovative AI tool for converting ideas into code. Prior to this, Ryo held key roles at Notion as Founding Designer and Design Lead, contributing to the enhancement of an all-in-one tool for various users, including the integration of AI features. Ryo also worked as a Product Designer at Stripe, playing a central role in the development of the new Stripe Checkout and related developer experiences. Earlier experience includes a position as Product Designer at Asana, focusing on mobile projects and cross-channel integration, and a tenure as Head of Design at Ping++, where Ryo revamped brand strategy and product marketing. Ryo's academic background includes a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Biology from McGill University and a DEC in Health Science from Marianopolis College.
