Megan Opp is the Chief People Officer at Apeel Sciences. Megan has over fifteen years of experience in human resources, and has held leadership positions at The Trade Desk, Inc., ReachLocal, a Gannett Company, SpinMedia, and Conversant.

Opp began their career in human resources at The Trade Desk, Inc. in September 2016. Megan was responsible for leading the global human resources team and helped scale the company through hyper-growth from IPO stage to a worldwide company with over 1,000 employees within 2.5 years. In April 2019, they left The Trade Desk, Inc. to join Apeel Sciences as their Chief People Officer.

Before joining The Trade Desk, Inc., Opp was the Chief People Officer at ReachLocal, a Gannett Company. Megan was responsible for global head of HR for 1,600 employees in North America, Latin America, APAC, and Europe. Megan was also a member of the executive team that led the turn around of the company before it was ultimately sold to Gannett/USA Today Network.

From January 2013 to December 2014, Opp served as the SVP of Human Resources at SpinMedia. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of human resources for the company.

In January 2014, Opp joined Conversant as their SVP of Human Resources. Conversant was acquired by Alliance Data/Epsilon in December 2014, and Opp remained with the company until December 2015 when they left to join The Trade Desk, Inc.

Opp has a proven track record of successfully leading human resources teams through periods of high growth and change. Megan is an expert in talent management, compensation and benefits, and systems and analytics.

Megan Opp has a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from Syracuse University.

Their manager is James Rogers, Founder & CEO. A direct report to Megan Opp is and Carly Jenner - Vice President, People & Culture. They work with Steve Babcock - Executive Creative Director, Adrian Cox - GM, Citrus, and Jordan Hudson - SVP, Strategy.
