Najib Maslouh

Najib Maslouh is the Vice President, Manufacturing, Technical Operations at Apellis Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they were self-employed. Najib has also worked as a Site Manager at Bachem from March 2006 to May 2017, where they were responsible for providing leadership to cross functional departments and ensuring compliance of all operations and installations with local, state and federal regulations. Najib has also worked as a Synthesis and DSP Manager at UCB from May 2001 to January 2006, where they were responsible for managing the synthetic operations and the down-stream processing of custom designed peptides in bench and pilot scale laboratories. Najib’s experience also includes working as a Research Assistant at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck from January 1992 to August 1999.

Najib Maslouh has had an excellent educational career in the field of organic chemistry. Najib first attended Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, where they studied amino acid derivatives. Najib then went on to become a postdoctoral fellow at New Mexico State University, where they continued their studies in organic chemistry.
